An International Symposium was celebrated in collaboration with East Calcutta Girls’ College on the 7th of January 2024 at East Calcutta Calcutta Girls’ College in the presence of a good number of guests , Dr. Bikram Sarkar , retired AIS & Member of Parliament, Prof.Dr. Nimai Chandra Saha , Ex VC and Dr. Ujjayani Mukhopadhyay, Principal of East Calcutta Girls’ College, including many Professors, writers and poets. A Bengali Poet and an English poet were awarded with HITAISI AWARD 2024 under the aegis of the president ,Dr. Abhijit Barman & author Sankar Sarkar, founder & secretary of HITAISI, besides other members of HITAISI, they are Prof.dr.Susnata Jana , an awarded writer,Prof.Biswanath Saha, Dr.Ashitos Sarkar, Dr, Ramatosh Sarkar and so many others .
